Redeemer Fellowship Church
Welcome to Redeemer Fellowship
Redeemer Fellowship Church in Evansville, IN exists to bring the good news of Jesus to the city and surrounding area. We believe that the church’s duty is to bravely go into the world and redeem the issues of society with the message of Jesus’ salvation and restorative power.
We meet at St. Mark UCC at 11:15am for Worship (map). Park in the park lot on Hogue Road. You can also watch the service live below. We have Children's Worship at 10:30am before the worship service. If you have youth or teens, they can take part in the Youth Bible Study at 10:30am. You are welcome to grab a cup of coffee and fellowship with other adults before worship begins at 11:15am (map).
Curious what memory verses will be coming up for the kids? Here is the list for the first few months of the year:
Today House Republicans in the Ways and Means Committee released details of their plan to overhaul the U.S. tax code. Many would agree the extreme complexity of the tax system in America. Just ask anyone, who regularly gets anxious and overwhelmed by the annual spring tax return process. My wife, who is the smartest person I know, finds filing taxes a hair pulling activity. Yet, taxes are a regular part of our lives. Benjamin Franklin famously wrote in 1789, "Our new Constitution is now established, and has an appearance that promises permanency; but in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.”
Our church had the privilege to celebrate communion together for the first time as a church. We plan to make this a regular part of our weekly worship service. However, you will notice that we ask a series of questions before taking communion together.
