Let us worship God

"He is our refuge and our fortress, our God, in whom we trust."

Let us confess with our mouths, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead.

"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Let us call upon our true God, believing him in our hearts, confessing him with our mouths, worshiping him in spirit and in truth.

based on Psalm 91:2; Romans 10:9, 13

Sean Melvin

Through the blood of Christ Jesus, our Lord, we have redemption, forgiveness of sins. The riches of God's grace have been poured out upon us.

Praise be to our God.

who has chosen and made us his own.

Praise be to our God.

who forgives and cleanses us.

Praise be to our God.

who blesses us beyond our imagination!

23 Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

Memory Verse and Catechism Question for the Week

Children’s Memory Verse

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20

The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
      creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
      He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
      was crucified, died, and was buried;
The third day he rose again from the dead.
      He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
      the holy catholic (universal) church,
      the communion of saints,
      the forgiveness of sins,
      the resurrection of the body,
      and the life everlasting. Amen.
